Forgetfulness associated with aging

Aging is an inevitable process, and as we grow older, most people become somewhat forgetful and more absent-minded.  The degree to which this happens, however, is greatly affected by genetic composition, stress, and other health-related factors such as diet, exercise, and lifestyle. As we age, the brain may find it more difficult to make connections along its neural pathways. This is often part of the natural aging process.

Healthy circulation and visual health

Capillaries bring oxygen rich blood to the optic nerve and the eyeball.  The retina represents the film in our camera.  It captures the image and sends it to the brain to be developed. The macula is the highly sensitive area of the retina and is responsible for our critical focusing vision.  It is the part of the retina most used while reading or staring at an object. There are many home remedies for healthy eyes, if inter-ocular pressure is too great, or circulation is poor, the image is affected.

Joint and Cartilage Health

In the course of every day activities, our joints are subject to a great deal of strain and stress. While they are designed to cope with this, it also makes sense to do all we can to keep our joints in tip top form and to support joint health and movement. There is also a certain amount of fluid present in joints to keep them well-oiled and free moving. Natural remedies have been used for hundreds of years in traditional medicine to support joint and muscle health and to keep joints moving as they should.

Blood sugar and glucose levels

The body uses the bloodstream to distribute nutrients to cells and organs, and there should always be a certain amount of glucose circulating in the bloodstream. Insulin is a hormone which helps regulate blood sugar levels. It is produced by the pancreas, which is an organ close to the stomach. It acts like a key, opening the way for the glucose coming from the food we eat to enter the cells. Vitamins, minerals and other nutritional substances are also all important building blocks of systemic health.

Support healthy energy levels

The body relies on every organ to support healthy energy levels. When one body system is compromised a domino effect is created, with one system affecting the next. Natural remedies have been used in traditional medicine for thousands of years to support the body’s ability to maintain healthy energy levels, healthy and efficient stamina and routine endurance during the later years.
